About the Role
We are currently looking for a dynamic Senior Accountant to join our team, overseeing financial operations in our Singapore office. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, as well as contributing in strategic planning process.
Responsibilities
- Perform accounting duties including preparation of financial statements and analysis
- Ensure all management reports are submitted in a timely manner within the Corporate / Regional deadlines
- Improve and optimize work process, which includes using technology tools and applications to increase efficiency and automation
- Handle audit and bank matters
- Perform customer credit review and monitor cashflow position
- Handle tax filing (income tax, GST etc), internal tax reporting and other tax matters
- Manage all accounting matters to ensure compliance with US GAAP, SAS, group policies, and tax requirements etc
- Ensure all vendor payments are properly and timely verified
- Process payroll, including salary calculations, CPF submissions, and pay slips
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business and Chartered Accountant
- At least 2 years of accounting experience in a supervisor role
- Audit experience is a plus
- Experience in Logistics preferred
- Sound knowledge in accounting principles, tax regulations and other compliance requirements
- Strong in Excel, Power BI and other data analysis tools
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Self-driven, hands-on with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
