Description
Act as a key leader in the development and execution of software quality methods and processes.
Essential Functions
- Develops, executes, and documents software/hardware/firmware test plans using both automated and manual testing to ensure products meet design specifications.
- Leads the effort to establish the test automation framework that will be used across the engineering organization.
- Builds/purchases/integrates testing tools at the enterprise level and/or across release trains to provide a comprehensive test automation platform.
- Continuously improves upon the productivity and efficiency of our testing efforts using innovative tools and techniques.
- Communicates and refines the evolving test automation strategy and tactics to software qa engineering management and individual contributors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field and/or equivalent.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) equivalent work experience in computer support or information technology environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
General knowledge of hardware, software, and network.

Essential Functions
- Provides leadership and direction to Software Quality Engineers who develops, executes, and documents automated test cases
- Develops, executes, and documents quality testing standards for the enterprise.
- Leads the effort to establish the test automation framework that will be used across the engineering organization.
- Recommends and integrates testing tools at the enterprise level and/or across release trains to provide a comprehensive test automation platform.
- Continuously improves upon the productivity and efficiency of our testing efforts using innovative tools and techniques.
- Communicates and refines the evolving test automation strategy and tactics to QA Engineering management and individual contributors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Experience as a QA Manager, QA Lead, or similar role, with experience in quality assurance
- Experience leading Software Quality Engineers in a large-scale IT environment
- Experience with Performance Test tools such as JMeter
- Familiar with working in an Agile environment (Kanban, Scrum)
- Experience performing end-to-end testing across multiple platforms including Linux and IBM-i (AS/400)
- Experience using Git and other version control tools
- In-depth knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
- Background in developing and managing automated test suites using tools (Selenium, TestNG or similar) and scripting languages.
- Experience with software testing, defect tracking, and quality management systems.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to both IT and Business area stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Pay: Memphis ($9,719.96/mo - $16,523.93/mo), Plano ($10,231.53/mo - $17,393.61/mo), New Berlin ($10,231.53/mo - $17,393.61/mo), Orlando ($9,719.96/mo - $16,523.93/mo), Pittsburgh ($10,231.53/mo - $17,393.61/mo)
Additional Details: This position will be hybrid in Pittsburgh, PA; Memphis,TN; Orlando,FL; New Berlin,WI or Plano,TX. & candidates must live within a 50-mile radius. Employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week. Pay- FEC_E29
