Solutions Architect
Description
Under limited guidance, work at the business unit level developing the end-to-end solution architecture for significant initiatives in partnership with key business and IT stakeholders. Exposes current state architecture and identifies options for future state architecture. Works closely with business and IT stakeholders creating solutions that balance competing interests and concerns. Develops plans for and facilitates the migration from current to selected future state by providing technical leadership to multiple initiatives. Mentor those in less senior positions. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent* in computer science, engineering, information systems, business or related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business or related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience. The position requires experience with: Programming Languages experience using Spring Boot and J2EE along with JMS and OKTA and S3 and OAuth2; Database experience using Oracle along with PL/SQL and SQL Tunning and ETL; Front End experience using Angular and HTML and CSS and TypeScript; PLACI Implementation experience; Reliability experience using Splunk and AppDynamics; Deployment and App env support using Jenkins CI/CD in PCF and WebLogic and GitHub environment along with WebLogic/java Upgrades/Patches, and Vulnerabilities; App integration experience using both Rest and SOAP; Service Virtualization in Ephemeral env for Automated Testing. General knowledge of hardware, software, and network. Human relations. Communication. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirement. *Employer will accept one (1) year of directly related experience in lieu of one (1) year of education. This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius. This position is hybrid, meaning that employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.
