Sr Prod Owner-Mktg & Data Cloud
Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for the strategy, backlog, and delivery outcomes for SFMC, Data Cloud identity resolution, and the attribution Hub that feeds all demand channels. Will oversee the intersection of deliverability, data quality, compliance, marketing effectiveness, and AI-powered content and campaign optimization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Maintain the Marketing Cloud (SFMC) backlog end-to-end, including campaign journeys, Content Builder assets, Cloud Pages lead capture, send management, deliverability operations, and AI-powered content optimization.
Serve as the authority for all demand channel attributions flowing through the Attribution Hub, defining channel-level KPIs, segment activation rules, and campaign performance metrics in partnership with Marketing leadership.
Define product requirements for identity resolution rules, ensuring deterministic match keys (email, account number).
Oversee IP warming strategy and deliverability operations in partnership with monitoring tools (Everest/Validity), including send volume ramp schedules, engagement-based list segmentation, and inbox placement tracking.
Oversee the Agentforce AI product strategy for Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud, including AI-generated content personalization, predictive send time optimization, AI-powered audience segmentation, and marketing agent deployment for campaign orchestration and lead nurturing.
Define AI content guardrails and governance policies: establish approval workflows for AI-generated marketing content, brand voice compliance checks, and Einstein Trust Layer configurations for marketing use cases.
Evaluate, select, and manage marketing technology vendor partners, including deliverability monitoring (Everest/Validity), list hygiene (BriteVerify), contact enrichment (ZoomInfo), and emerging AI marketing tools. Manage vendor contracts, escalation paths, and integration health.
Design and maintain Marketing Cloud Connect synchronization requirements between SFMC and Sales Cloud, including polling configurations, subscriber key alignment, and data extension architecture.
Author requirements for Cloud Pages lead capture forms using AMPscript patterns, ensuring web-to-lead flows comply with CAN-SPAM, state-level opt-in requirements, and privacy consent inheritance rules applicable to corporate separations.
Drive scored intake for all marketing technology feature requests, maintaining a prioritized backlog using BETS scoring with documented trade-off rationale.
Define activation targets that push segments to SFMC for campaign sends to Sales Cloud for seller alerts, and to advertising platforms for suppression or retargeting, with documented Manager boundaries per channel.
Coordinate with IT Security and the CISO office to ensure SFMC configurations meet DLP, encryption, and consent management requirements for a publicly traded company.
Oversee the ZoomInfo contact enrichment integration requirements for Marketing Cloud, including list hygiene rules, enrichment-to-send pipeline design, and exclusion logic during IP warming periods.
Oversee the Marketing Cloud separation from the legacy parent organization, including subscriber list migration, journey rebuild, Content Builder asset transfer, and sender profile reconfiguration for the new domain.
Design and track marketing performance dashboards: inbox placement rates (not just ISP acceptance), engagement rates, MQL pipeline contribution, attribution by channel, campaign ROI, and AI content performance metrics.
Manage SI partner (Accenture) and consultant delivery for Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud workstreams: review deliverables, approve story completion, and govern the transition from partner-led to FTE-Managed operations.
Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
