Sr Product Owner-Slack Plt/Coffab
Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for the strategy, backlog, and delivery outcomes for SFMC, Data Cloud identity resolution, and the attribution Hub that feeds all demand channels. Will oversee the intersection of deliverability, data quality, compliance, marketing effectiveness, and AI-powered content and campaign optimization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Deliver the Slack platform strategy and phased rollout using a Crawl/Walk/Run framework.
Define and prioritize Slack workflow automations for commercial teams, translating seller and marketer pain points into Workflow Builder configurations, channel strategies, and notification designs that reduce context-switching and information fragmentation.
Design Salesforce-to-Slack integration requirements, including real-time CRM notifications (deal stage changes, territory alerts, case escalations), account collaboration channels, and Data Cloud-triggered alerts surfaced in Slack.
Oversee the Agentforce AI product strategy for Slack, including SDR Agent deployment (lead engagement via Slack), Sales Coach Agent enablement (deal-specific feedback in channel), Service Agent routing (autonomous case resolution), Customer Insights Agent configuration (360-degree briefings from Data Cloud), Employee Help Agent (internal IT/HR support), and the custom Driver Lead Agent (driver-to-pipeline conversion).
Define AI agent acceptance criteria, deployment protocols, and ongoing performance metrics for all Agentforce agents in Slack. Manage agent testing using the Agentforce Testing Center, monitor hallucination rates, and configure escalation thresholds.
Evaluate, select, and manage Slack ecosystem vendor partners, including app integrations (Tableau, Zoom, task management), telephony connectors, and Agentforce licensing. Oversee vendor security reviews using scoring with documented business cases required before each deployment.
Run the Slack channel governance model: naming conventions, channel lifecycle policies, archival rules, permission structures, and compliance-grade retention settings appropriate for a publicly traded company.
Drive adoption strategy for sellers and commercial team members, defining onboarding flows, power-user enablement programs, and engagement metrics (DAU/MAU, workflow trigger rates, channel activity by team, AI agent utilization rates).
Coordinate with IT/IAM on Slack SSO (Okta SAML 2.0), DLP policy enforcement within Slack Enterprise Grid, eDiscovery/legal hold configurations, and data residency compliance.
Manage the legacy connection sunset and transition plan, ensuring sellers retain deal notification functionality without service interruption during platform changeover.
Partner with Data Cloud and Sales Cloud Product Owners to design cross-platform activation flows: Data Cloud insight triggers Slack notification, seller takes action in Sales Cloud, outcome logged back to Data Cloud for attribution.
Define and track Slack platform health metrics the framework: Adoption (license utilization, active workspace ratio, workflow adoption rate, AI agent engagement), Integrity (channel hygiene, bot/integration reliability, SSO compliance), Metrics (time-to-response for deal alerts, workflow completion rates, seller satisfaction, agent resolution accuracy).
Oversee the Slackbot product strategy: define use cases for meeting prep, canvas generation, enterprise search, thread summarization, and agent orchestration capabilities included with Business+ licenses.
Oversee SI partner and consultant delivery for Slack integration workstreams: review deliverables, approve story completion, and govern the transition from partner-led to FTE-Managed operations.
Enforce phase gates to prevent scope creep: no custom Slack app development, no unapproved third-party apps, and all features require a scored business case before entering the backlog.
Evaluate Honeywell CT47 driver device capabilities and constraints for Slack mobile deployment, ensuring driver-sourced lead workflows function on the confirmed hardware platform.
Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
