Technical Quality Advisor
Description
Collaborates with other IT teams, architects, and business partners to help evaluate current best practices in software development quality assurance practices. Provides leadership within a specific technology area or across multiple technology areas to complete root cause analysis, design solutions/configurations, and/or perform QA activities. Mentors less senior staff. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent* in computer science, engineering, information systems, business administration, or related field plus 5 years of equivalent work experience in information technology or business environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business administration, or related field plus 3 years of equivalent work experience in information technology or business environment. The position requires experience with: Performance Engineering; Service Virtualization; Load runner; Ready API Performance Testing; Ready API Service Virtualization; Automation testing; CI/CD; Java/J2EE; AppDynamics; Dynatrace; Splunk. Leadership skills required. Knowledge of software development quality assurance practices. *Employer will accept one (1) year of directly related experience in lieu of one (1) year of education. This position will be hybrid in Plano, TX and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius. This position is hybrid, meaning that employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.
