Healthcare
As part of our commitment to our people, FedEx Ground offers a group benefit program where monthly premiums are 100% paid by the Company.
Employees are eligible for extended health and dental coverage, Life & Accidental Death and Dismemberment, long- and short- term disability coverage and offers an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Employees are eligible immediately.
Tuition Reimbursement
Non-package handler employees are eligible for the program upon employment.
Part-time Admin/Clerk employee Reimbursement:
Up to $1,500.00 per calendar year (for eligible expenses)
Part-time Non-Admin/Clerk employee Reimbursement:
Up to $2,500.00 per calendar year (for eligible expenses)
Full-time Non-package handler employee Reimbursement Limit:
Up to $5,000.00 per calendar year (for eligible expenses)
Paid Time Off
All full-time and part-time non-package handler employees are eligible to accrue vacation.
Holiday Pay
Non-package handler employees are eligible to receive holiday pay* upon employment, and will enjoy up to 6 paid holidays a year
Labor Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day
*Part-time Non-Package Handler Employees: Holiday pay is based on the scheduled standard hours to work per week Example: 25 hours per week / 5-day week = 5 hours of holiday pay
Retirement Plans
FedEx Ground will assist you in saving for your future. The retirement plan makes it easier to attain your goals whether you are just starting your career, midway through or close to your retirement. FedEx Ground offers: Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP): Eligible upon completing 3 months of service Company match up to 4.5% of base wages Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP): May elect to make additional voluntary contributions from your base wages up to your personal RRSP contribution limit Tax Free Savings Account (TFSA): May elect to make additional voluntary contributions from your base wages up to your personal RRSP contribution limit
