The Group Product Manager, Pickup will be a key leader in the Digital Product organization. This role leads a team of product managers responsible for the end-to-end pickup experience across FedEx digital platforms. That includes scheduling, pickup changes, pickup visibility and communications, pricing clarity, and recovery when pickups fail. Success will be measured by increased digital completion and reduced pickup related calls and agent transfers, while improving pickup reliability and customer trust. Scope includes scheduling, pickup changes, pickup status and communications, pricing clarity, and recovery across web, mobile, chat, and partner experiences. 

Key Responsibilities across the pickup experience, including Pickup scheduling, changes, status and communications, pricing visibility, and recovery across web, mobile, chat, and partner experiences. 

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the Digital Pickup portfolio, aligned with the overall company goals, customer needs, and operational requirements. Define measurable outcomes for the pickup experience. 
  • Roadmap & Execution: Define and manage the digital product roadmap and release plan, prioritizing work based on customer demand, call drivers, operational performance, and feasibility. Establish release gates and success metrics for major capabilities across the experience. 
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, operations, and customer support to deliver a consistent pickup experience across web, mobile, chat and partner integrations. 
  • Business Stakeholder / Operations Partnership: Collaborate closely with operations and operations technology teams to ensure success from pickup commitment through execution. 
  • Customer Focus: Champion a customer-centric approach, using funnel analytics, call drivers, customer feedback, and usability testing to identify opportunities, prioritize development, and validate impact. 
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer behavior to identify new opportunities and ensure the competitiveness of our products. 
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate priorities, tradeoffs, risks, and results clearly to senior leadership. Align stakeholders across product, engineering, operations, and customer support on what ships, why it ships, and how success will be measured. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 7+ yrs of experience in product management, with a proven track record of shipping and scaling customer-facing products in operationally complex environments. 
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the logistics, transportation, or e-commerce industry is highly preferred. 
  • Product Experience: Proven experience working with business stakeholders and operations teams to translate needs into technical requirements and product features. 
  • Leadership: Experience leading and managing a team of product managers. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity and align execution across platform teams, operations technology, and customer facing channels. 

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. In lieu of a degree, 9 years of practical experience may offset education requirements

Minimum Experience

  • 5 years of experience in product management, with at least 3+ years in a senior or lead product management role.
