What you will be doing:
As a Process Automation Engineer within the Air Network Planning & Engineering group, you will play a key role in improving operational efficiency through automation, data integration, and process optimization. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scripts and automation solutions that support business-critical workflows and efficient data processing across multiple systems.
In this role, you will extract, transform, and integrate data from various heterogeneous sources such as databases, APIs, files, and external systems, while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and usability across datasets and platforms. You will also develop and maintain automated reporting solutions, dashboards, and structured reports that provide operational visibility and meaningful business insights to support data-driven decision-making.
Additionally, you will translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions and automation workflows, monitor and optimize existing processes to ensure reliability and performance, and troubleshoot technical or data-related issues when required. You will continuously identify opportunities for process improvement through automation and standardization, while ensuring data quality, validation, and integrity throughout all stages of processing.
The role also involves documenting technical solutions and workflows to support maintainability and knowledge sharing, as well as collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
What do you bring with you:
We are looking for a proactive and analytical professional with a passion for automation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. You are comfortable working with data, translating business needs into technical solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders across different functions.
You hold a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, and have experience working with scripting and automation technologies such as Python, PowerShell, SQL, VBA, or similar tools. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, allowing you to work effectively with complex datasets and technical challenges, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
You are organized, capable of managing multiple priorities, and able to translate technical concepts into business-friendly solutions through effective communication and collaboration with different stakeholders. A continuous improvement mindset, curiosity to identify inefficiencies, and the ability to propose scalable automation solutions are essential for success in this role.
Experience or knowledge in logistics, supply chain, air network operations, or data analytics tools will be considered a strong advantage. The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within cross-functional teams will help you thrive in this position.
