Involves completing office-based administrative tasks, usually relating to a back office or commercial function, with none or very limited contact with external customers.

Position Title:
Payroll Administrator


Job Details:
Provides payroll support services including research and resolution for employees, vendors, and taxing authorities. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing and compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.


Position Summary and Principal Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide timely and accurate disbursement of employee wages in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support accurate and timely payment of federal, state, and local payroll taxes and corporate liabilities.
  • Research and resolve payroll inquiries from employees, vendors, and taxing authorities.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other internal teams to resolve payroll-related issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a high-volume transactional environment such as payroll, accounting, data entry, information systems, or customer service.
  • Related experience may offset education requirements; related education may offset experience requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow detailed, step-by-step written instructions and checklists
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage confidential information.
  • Good human relations and communication skills, both verbal and written (in English).


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities considered a plus:

  • Working knowledge of payroll processes, calculations, taxation, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience navigating and performing data entry across multiple systems (Payroll, Case Management, HR systems,).


Domicile / Relocation Information:

This is a hybrid position.  Additionally, this position will be performed remotely from the employee’s home location. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.  Follow local laws regarding specific language based on work contract.
 

Remote Office Requirements:

  • Must have a quiet and private place to work without disruptions.
  • Must have internet connection from a reliable service provider as of Day 1 of employment. Follow local laws regarding specific language based on work contract
