LM415: Financial Advisor

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advisor to act as the right hand of the Cash Accounting Manager Controller. The Advisor will supervise, organize and prioritize activities of his/her team. He/She must ensure accurate financial reporting to support CBS month/quarter and year end closing as well as to ensure timely accounting records and account reconciliations during the month. This role requires strong accounting expertise, leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills.

He/She must ensure accurate financial reporting to support CBS month/quarter and year end closing as well as to ensure timely accounting records and account reconciliations during the month. This role requires strong accounting expertise, leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills.

Lead and supervise a group of accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables. Prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks to meet deadlines and business requirements. Review and/or reconcile accounts on a timely basis, ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. Provide direct support to the Cash Accounting Manager Controller in decision-making and strategic initiatives. Communicate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve issues. Ensure proper documentation and reporting of financial transactions. Assist in audits, month-end and year-end closing processes. Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field.
• Strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.
• Proven experience supervising or leading a team.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
