Mgr-IT SOX Compliance (Finance)

Description

Leads the IT risk and controls function for financial systems, ensuring compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements. Acts as a strategic partner to Finance and IT leadership to identify, assess, and mitigate IT risks impacting financial reporting.

• Oversees IT SOX compliance for all finance-related systems.

• Manages a team of analysts and specialists. 

• Collaborate with Finance, Internal Audit, and IT Security.

• Develop and maintain IT control frameworks aligned with SOX.

• Lead risk assessments and control testing.

• Manage remediation plans and audit responses.

• Provide training and guidance to team members and stakeholders.

• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

• Ensure compliance with lobbying disclosure and ethics regulations.

• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.

Actual pay is determined by job-related factors permitted by law and relevant to the position, such as experience, tenure, market level, pay at the location for this job, performance, schedule, and work assignment. Pay Range: $103,880.00 - $181,790.00 per year

Colorado Pay Ranges: Springfield $103,880 - $181,790; Colorado Springs, Grand Junction $103,880 - $181,790; Henderson, Mead $103,880 - $181,790; Gypsum $103,880 - $181,790

Illinois Pay Ranges: East Moline, Effingham, Kankakee, Lincoln, Quincy, Rockford $103,880 - $181,790; Aurora, Bolingbrook, Chicago Heights, Des Plaines, Elmhurst, Forest View, Joliet, Schaumburg, Summit-Argo, Zion $103,880 - $181,790

New York Pay Ranges: Plattsburgh, Buffalo, Watertown, North Chili, East Syracuse, Nichols $103,880 - $181,790; Nichols $103,880 - $181,790; Bethpage, Montgomery, West Babylon $103,880 - $181,790

While this position is eligible to work remotely if the successful candidate is located outside the Memphis, TN or Harrison, AR areas, the candidate must reside within 50 miles of a FedEx Freight location within the continental U.S. If the successful candidate is located in the Memphis, TN or Harrison, AR areas, the candidate will be required

to work a hybrid schedule, working three days per week in the office.

Minimum education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, or related field.

Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements.

Minimum experience

• Five (5) years of experience in IT audit, risk, or compliance.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

• Deep understanding of SOX, ITGCs, and financial systems.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
