Are you a high-caliber quality leader with a "hands-on" technical mastery of ISO compliance, auditing, and operational governance?

We are looking for a Senior Quality & Compliance Specialist to lead our enterprise quality management strategy and drive operational excellence across Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), India, and the UAE. In this critical role, you will serve as a regional subject matter expert, bridging the gap between local market operational standards and global quality objectives. You will leverage your deep expertise in eQMS management, ISO adherence, business controls, and PMO engineering to ensure our logistics operations are not just compliant, but market-leading.

What You Will Do:

  • Methods & Standards Leadership: Act as a regional technical expert to establish, refine, and enforce quality methods and standards across complex logistics, express, and freight environments.

  • eQMS Lead & Document Control: Own and modernize the Enterprise Quality Management System (eQMS), maintaining strict document control frameworks for policies, SOPs, and governance records.

  • Audit Management & ISO Adherence: Lead comprehensive internal and external audit programs, maintaining seamless ISO certification (ISO 9001) processes and end-to-end audit readiness.

  • CAPA Ownership: Take full ownership of Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) frameworks, executing thorough root-cause analyses to eliminate non-conformances and elevate operational standards.

  • Vendor & Supplier Validation: Direct technical validation and quality performance evaluations for regional vendors and suppliers, ensuring external partners align with FedEx global standards.

  • Business Controls & Risk Oversight: Support leadership with the analysis, interpretation, and application of business controls to mitigate operational vulnerabilities and safeguard compliance.

  • PMO & Strategic Alignment: Integrate quality engineering principles into PMO planning and program management phases, contributing directly to divisional and corporate goals.

What You Will Bring:

  • Experience: 5+ years of proven success in a Senior Quality, Compliance, or Governance Specialist role within the Express, Freight Forwarding, or Logistics industry.

  • Accreditation & Certifications: Certified ISO Lead Auditor (ISO 9001) would be advantageous, with a detailed understanding of ISO certification processes and audit lifecycles. Specific business/industry accreditations preferred.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline or years of experience will be considered.

  • Technical Mastery: Deep familiarity with Enterprise Quality Management Systems (eQMS), document control protocols, and business controls environments.

  • Competencies & Skills: Exemplary accuracy and attention to detail, strong planning and organizing capabilities, sound judgment and decision-making skills, and proven problem-solving expertise.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex regulatory information into executive briefings and regional training modules.

  • Mobility: Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% regionally across SSA, India, and UAE, with occasional international travel.
